We all miss our loved ones during this time. If you're looking for a way to show them you care, here's a list of 10 gift ideas.
Most of these I have sent myself and have been really pleased with the outcome.
1. FreePrints Card

I have sent a few of these during lockdown. FreePrints Cards is an app that lets you send a free card every month, you just need to pay the 79p delivery. This is so useful in lockdown as you get to personalise a card for a loved one online, without having to head to the post office. You can opt to add your own photo and message too which makes for a nice sentiment.
2. Bulk Food items... Just Because
OK so this is a bit random but I love it. Amazon have so many bulk food items you can buy. Like the 3 KG of Celebrations seen in the video above. This particular gift was for my sister and cost £14.99 at the time I ordered it. If you agree that food is just so much more fun when unnecessarily large, have a cheeky Google. There are so many options.
3. Plaster Hand
I haven't personally ordered this one, but the idea was too cute not to share. The Ladbaby video speaks for itself really. Holding the hand of someone you miss is priceless.
4. A Good Book

Reading is the age-old past time. If you know someone that's inevitably bored at home, why not send them something to read? I've sent my grandparents a few books the past few weeks and they've loved it. Amazon and Waterstones etc are all delivering as normal so they're easy to get.
5. A Care Package

Nothing says 'i'm thinking of you' more than a care package. Usually, I would like to make my own and post them off. With the current climate, it's just as easy to order one online and add a personal message. Etsy offer some reasonably priced options, especially if you have a chocolate fan. There's also an added bonus of helping out a small business.
6. A Boomf

If you haven't seen the TV ads for Boomf you're missing out. Boomf Bombs are pop up photo cubes that explode with confetti when you open them. I haven't sent one of these, but I have received one and loved it. They cost around £7.99 but work as a gift and decoration so defo worth it.
7. A Glossy Box

I keep seeing Instagram influencers advertising this one and I have to say it looks like a pretty great gift. It's a subscription box with surprise makeup, skincare and haircare products delivered to your door every month. The boxes are either £10 monthly or the equivalent to £8.50 if signing up for a year.

8. A Photo Book

As with FreePrints Cards, FreePrints Photo Books is an app. The app lets you use photos from your phone to make a 7x5 photo book. They're really good quality and again you get one free every month, it just costs the price of postage.
9. Some Superdrug Essentials

This is a good practical gift. Without little trips into town, it's easy to run out of makeup and other bits and bobs. Fortunately, Superdrug deliver. If you have a Health and Beauty card delivery is free when you spend £10, which is even better.
10. A Good Old Fashioned Letter

You can't beat a letter. Everyone is missing their family and friends at the moment. A little envelope coming through the letterbox never fails to bring a smile.
